With performance by Glen Johnson at 5 p.m. and publication launch for Show + Tell: Notions of Home and Place by Alumni and casualty.

Organized in conjunction with the University of Winnipeg's 40th anniversary, Show + Tell opens during Homecoming '07and features art in various media by 13 University of Winnipeg graduates. The exhibit includes new work by Steve Bates, Richard Dyck, Leah Fontaine, Allan Geske, Richard Hines, Glen Johnson, Blair Marten, Kegan McFadden, Solomon Nagler, Freya Bjorg Olafson, Paul Robles, Donna Szoke and Racheal Tycoles.

An opening reception will take place at Gallery 1C03 on Thursday, September 13 from 4 - 6 p.m. A live performance by Glen Johnson will take place at 5 p.m. in room 3C01.

Gallery 1C03 will produce a publication documenting the work in Show + Tell. The publication will include illustrations of selected works, an introduction by exhibition curator Jennifer Gibson and an interpretive essay by University of Winnipeg alumna, art critic and writer Alison Gillmor.
